Obama!
Erik and I had a great time celebrating the election of our new president! The night before the election, Obama came to UNC Charlotte's campus to speak! Despite the rain and standing in line for over an hour, we got to hear the wise words of our president-elect. How cool! As we were standing there, I told Erik that this would be a story we would tell our grandchildren. We were definitely a part of history! On election night, we were checking the TV and the computer for updates. North Carolina didn't post results for a few days ... but we went BLUE for the first time since the 70s! (So did Indiana!)
