Dear Kari and Erik:
Q: Where did you register?
A: We're so glad you asked, avid blogsite reader. Target and Linens-n-Things

Q: Wasn't it so fun to walk around with that laser scanner?
A: Yes it was very fun. Erik enjoyed scanning Kari 's arm, leg, etc. as we walked around the store. Kari did get to do some scanning while Erik was busy wheeling himself in the wheelchair.

Q: How did you pick which items you wanted?
A: Since we both have full homes, we tended to pick items that neither of us had, but definitely wanted! We also decided to donate old or mismatched items to a shelter, so we could start with new marriage-related items, such as silverwear. And, some items are just too hard to resist with that scanner ... such as the countertop compost bin.

Q: How long did it take you to register?
A: We probably started the process in April, and went back to the stores or the online sites 10 or more times to edit and add. It is quite a lengthy process (as we have found with everything in wedding planning).
