Aruba, not Jamaica, ouuuuuu I want to take ya ....

After hours of working with a travel agent, searching the internet, and reading reviews we picked a honeymoon location.

Aruba-Tamarijn Resort

Here were some of the criteria that we used:

-All-Inclusive
-Caribbean
-White sandy beaches
-Oceanview
-Interesting outdoor excursion options
-Something with a little nightlife, not Spring Breakish

Here are some of the things that we found out about Aruba that helped us select the Tamarijn

-Out of the Hurricane Alley
-Rooms open up to the beach (about 30 feet away)
-Aruba is very much an English-speaking island
-Considered to be one of the safest islands in the Caribbean (has gotten some attention lately)
-Very relaxed culture
-Flights from Charlotte are very reasonable

The Tamarijn is not a 5-star hotel but has some of the best rooms that sit right on the beach. It also gets very high remarks by travel experts and recent guests.

We will honeymoon from Monday-Sunday and hope to see Lionel Richie perform on Saturday night at the Aruba Music Festival! ALL NIGHT LONG, all night, ALL NIGHT LONG!

We are both excited about soaking up the sun in October, but first we have a ceremony to attend!
