Troubles in planning Paradise!
NOT REALLY!!!!
After bucking the postal system and electing to take RSVPing into the tele/web age, it seems we have hit a minor snag in our RSVP technology. As we sorely are finding out, THEKNOT.com has not yet perfected the art of online RSVPs. Several people have reported troubles, such as the request not going through or the site being down. We apoligize for any confusion. If you have RSVPed online but not yet recieved a confirmation e-mail from us, please contact us directly via e-mail.
We also are asking you, the avid blog readers, to help us with a grassroots campaign to spread this news to anyone you know who may have replied online but not yet received a confirmation reply from us. Your efforts are thanked in advance.

The first September Saturday in Charlotte was beautiful. I can only hope and pray that the last one will be the same.

- We met in Statesboro, GA in 2001. We dated for two years while at Georgia Southern University, and then we moved to South Carolina. Kari did her Masters at Clemson for two years, and Erik worked at Furman University for three years. Kari then moved to Charlotte to work at UNC Charlotte in 2005, and Erik followed a year later. We got married on a beautiful and sunny September 30, 2006, in Charlotte, NC. Erik still works at UNCC as the Technical Director of the Student Activity Center and arena, and Kari transitioned to a new career in October in college ministry at our church.
